Job Description
1. Define a relevant regional strategy for the product groups in the field of responsibility on the basis of the business unit strategy (BUDP)
2. Develop and implement an innovative, competitive and economically sustainable product range in Azure on the basis of the business unit strategy (BUDP) incl. the business development, supply chain, pricing, innovation and the overall growth initiatives.
3. Drive the execution via BUDPA
4. Manage the regional assortment of the Business Unit, ensure its completeness, competitiveness and profitability
5. Coordinate and collaborate with regional/global product managers on the portfolio and business development actions while incorporating global BUDPA topics as relevant for the region
6. Monitor revenue development and sales activities of the products in the field of responsibility in accordance with defined performance indicators (turnover, sales, market share etc.) and developing and conducting measures for improving the revenue situation in collaboration with Sales
7. Define success metrics and analyze customer feedback and product usage in order to feed that back into the product roadmap and product lifecycle management
8. Collaborate in regular meetings with the R&D, Market Segments Pricing and Sales team to agree on the pricing strategy, product portfolio and supply chain topics with the respective teams
9. Conduct market and competition analysis supported by Market Intelligence concerning ingredients and concepts relevant to specific product groups
10. Support the sales team by actively engaging in customer visits, projects and briefings to share specific product and market knowhow as part of the LTO process
11. Communicate up-to-date and aligned portfolio updates on internal Media such as Portal incl. product portfolio displays and external Media on D-Portal in cooperation with Group Marketing
12. Conduct in-house trainings to foster a deeper understanding of the product portfolio and the positioning
13. Actively steer margin structure by product group and initiate adjustments in close collaboration with Pricing team (Stop-Swap) in PMT
14. Evaluate regional innovation pipeline and capture opportunities for scaling on global level
