The Engineering team is looking for a Principal RF Engineer who will provide hands-on technical leadership to a team developing advanced RF Systems for exciting defense applications.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate technical acumen with technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the detailed design of RF circuits, modules, and subsystems.
- Provide technical inputs to program plans and proposals
- Resolve complex technical issues for product manufacturing and test
- Foster skill development for less experience d engineers
- Collaborate and effectively communicate while acting as the technical lead for development programs and production products
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Typically requires 7 years of experience in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturing.
- Experience providing technical leadership to an integrated product development team.
- Extensive experience in testing / troubleshooting RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits.
- Expertise using RF simulation software (Microwave Office, AWR, ADS, HFSS).
- Experience transferring new designs to production.
- Familiarity with RF and antenna theory.
- Travel up to 10%.
- Active Security Clearance required on day 1.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience with design and test of phased arrays.
- Experience with antenna test ranges.
- Experience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB.
- Experience in failure analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
