Outside Grounds Maintenance - Summer Temp

Assist grounds crew in daily O’Fallon Campus services such as grass cutting, trimming, emptying trash, painting and general clean up. 

• Trim sidewalks and curbs using a gas powered trimmer. 
• Blow off walks and curbs with gas powered blowers. 
• Operate self-propelled mowers as needed. 
• Pull weeds as needed in landscaping areas. 
• Empty outside trash cans. 
• Paint pipe bollards, gas pipe and storm drains as needed. 
• Shovel mulch as needed around trees and landscaping areas. 
• Wash Company vehicles as directed. 

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds, as needed.
• Ability to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina and coordination to perform outside grounds work.
• Proper and safe use of gas powered lawn mowers, trimmers and blowers.
• Self-Motivated, responsible and requires minimal direction.
• Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Capable of following direction and working independently.

The hours for this position are 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday, and 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM on Fridays.
