Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for the process engineering of the DaLian performance film operation to ensure the ESH, quality & service, volume and cost objectives are met. Be responsible for Process improvement and yield improvement: analyze product anomalies and assist in the development of temporary and long-term countermeasures for abnormal improvement, organize others to implement improvement plans and standardize it

Process and Technology:

  • Make sure operation to compliance with local ESH requirements and regulations
  • work on new production lines/equipment installation, check out and start up
  • Establishing & maintain the Standard Operating Procedures & Conditions
  • Optimize and stabilize process to get smooth production
  • Introduce and qualify new product to Suzhou plant and make to commercialization
  • Support production on resolving technical problems by statistic tools
  • To work closely with Operations to develop programs to drive on continually improvement on ESH, Quality, Cost &Volume
  • To drive on the localization on manufacturing materials to reduce working capital.
  • Work with R&D for new technology introduction and new process upgrade
  • To work with Operation Excellence to share the best practices and other knowledge to improve our process and operations
  • To manage the change on process

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Chemical, or material related subject, bachelor’s Degree or above
  • 3-5 years or above of relevant experience, coating, optical film, glass or paper industry process engineer is preferred.
  • Confident communicator in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • Resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment to delivering work in better-than-expected quality and time.
  • Be able to multi-task and be hands-on in carrying out responsibilities independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Be self-motivated, pro-active, and mature, with outstanding organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills. In addition, you should be flexible and able to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Expected to promote a team environment that welcomes employee input and values each individual employee.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with customer service mindset and highly aware of the business needs.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills and have an eye for detail.
  • Comfortable working with people from multi-cultural backgrounds and varying seniority levels.
