PROJECT MANAGER - CULTURE OF CARING (TIC) (BASED IN BARCELONA OR NAIROBI)

Job Description

  • University degree in medical or paramedical studies is required. Additional training in pedagogical methods, medical anthropology or transcultural approaches will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a medical organization in humanitarian settings, including managerial or coordination responsibilities. Previous experience with Médecins Sans Frontières as Project Medical Referent or Medical Coordinator is highly valued.
  • Proven experience in developing and facilitating participatory learning and training solutions, including culturally adapted learning materials in health-related contexts.
  • Experience in clinical roles with direct patient contact, as well as in qualitative and quantitative research related to health settings or patient experience.
  • Experience implementing pilot projects, including monitoring tools, iterative learning processes and capitalization of lessons learned.
  • Fluency in French and English is required. Knowledge of Spanish or Arabic will be considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (logframes, indicators, reporting) and advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet). Familiarity with qualitative data analysis software (e.g. NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS) will be considered an asset.
