About the Low-Income Lending Library:
The Low-Income Lending Library (LILL) was founded to provide access to educational resources and allow low-income students equal opportunities to a Grinnell education. The LILL provides free textbook rental to eligible low-income students, with eligibility determined by the Office of Financial Aid. The LILL also provides access to calculators, molecular model kits, and a small variety of basic school supplies, such as pens, pencils, notebooks, and folders. This resource is located in the basement of the Center for Religion, Spirituality, and Social Justice (CRSSJ), and the hours vary by semester—based on the availability of student staff.
