DC12 Operations Manager, 1st shift

Onsite Position:

This position is considered to be Fully Onsite, work is to be done onsite at a PetSmart location (Phoenix Home Office, PetSmart stores, Merchandise Development Center, Distribution Centers or another PetSmart site).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

Performs the objectives as set by the Department Manager in an assigned department and maintains a smooth workflow. Supervises associates in assigned department, including functions of associate relations, performance counseling, and annual reviews. Organizes work in a systematic way, establishing clear lines of responsibility; delegates effectively.

Processes DC documents accurately and efficiently, ensuring continuing process flow of paperwork; organizes work in a systematic way.

Resolves daily work issues by problem solving; effectively addresses associate issues.

Communicates with associates, peers, and management. Shares information and establishes guidelines; celebrates success.

Ensures and maintains a safe and clean working environment.

Ensures the consistent application of organization policies and procedures.

Additional duties may be performed depending on the needs of the business.
