We are seeking New Graduate LPN, also known as an Entry-Level Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN)This entry-level LPN role is for recent graduates eager to begin their nursing career in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Under the supervision of nurses and physicians, the LPN/LVN will provide basic nursing care, monitor patient health, and assist with daily clinical tasks while gaining hands-on experience. This position offers structured onboarding, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development to help build a strong foundation in practical nursing

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): 

  • Perform head-to-toe assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient conditions and patient care 
  • Administer oral, intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), or subcutaneous medications, including pain management and antibiotics 
  • Use electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient assessments, interventions, medications given, and progress 
  • Handle multiple patients with varying acuity levels, often prioritizing tasks like responding to emergencies, addressing pain management, and ensuring timely medication administration 
  • Participate in a nurse orientation designed to transition new grads into practice 
  • Work closely with experienced nurses or preceptors to refine clinical and critical-thinking skills 


The Graduate Registered Nurse must take the NCLEX-RN within three months of hiring.
The temporary Graduate Nurse Permit will expire immediately, and the individual will no longer be eligible to work.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

 

1. Graduate from an accredited nursing program
2. Current Temporary Graduate Nurse Permit
3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
