Senior Sales Manager-Singapore
Job Description
The Senior Sales Manager has the responsibility to manage and grow sales in the assigned
territory. This role focuses on both direct business from target accounts/verticals and indirect
business from partners to generate opportunities for Client. He/she carries a personal quota,
comprised of license and 1st year support, and has a separate quota for professional services.
Responsibilities:
- Generate, qualify, and close new sales opportunities which may require preparing and performing demonstrations at customer sites.
- Manage and keep excellent relations with existing accounts and partners.
- Research, recruit, develop and manage relationships with companies that will be able to successfully partner with Our Client
- Communicate Our Client’s benefits to potential clients and partners while developing the visibility of Our Client within the region.
- Maintain an accurate and precise sales forecast in Salesforce.com.
- Achieve sales targets detailed in compensation plan.
- Work within a team and contribute to its development and success.
- Experience in a similar position with a proven track record of selling high value software at or above quota.
- Close working relationships with senior commercial and technical players at key
- customers.
- Experience in managing partners/channels as well as the recruitment of new partners.
- Experience in the use of sales qualification and account development disciplines.
- Aggressive and overachieving sales personality driven by a challenge. Passionate about being successful in the job.
- Ability to self start and self motivate; demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach
- in achieving targets.
- Ability to deliver technical benefits as well as sales benefits.
- Proficiency in Mandarin a plus.
