Role description:
Our growing Design Center Team in the Toledo, OH office is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our Places Business Area. Arcadis serves many clients and project types in diverse market sectors. Role accountabilities:
Primary responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Providing technical and design support for industrial and/or water project designs as part of a team.
- Preparing calculations, drawings, and technical reports for structural engineering projects.
- Corresponding with project managers, project teams, and clients.
- Engaging in a variety of market sectors with the guidance and experience of the existing team to grow professionally.
- Working on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously with the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly.
- Participating in site visits, inspections, and providing support during construction phases as required.
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and Arcadis quality procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Microstation CAD software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- This position requires a current valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or co-op experience in a Consulting Engineering firm or Municipal work environment.
- Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar).
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or ability to obtain within one year.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $58,648 - $81,972. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
