Reconditioning Center Journeyperson Technician - TEST REQ

Compensation: Up to $35.00/hr + Weekly proficiency bonuses

 

What You’ll Do: 
 

• Perform oil changes
• Replace bulbs and air filters
• Check fluid levels, brakes, tires and other minor repairs on all makes and models of used vehicles
• Use necessary diagnostic equipment (scan tools, TP tools, Alldata, A/C equipment) DVOM, etc. to diagnose various no start, poor run, squeaks, rattles, front suspension, check engine lights or poor run conditions
• Make virtually all repairs needed to recondition cars start to finish
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets
• Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in Recon warehouse service departments
• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in Recon warehouse service departments
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring: 
 

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Previous detail experienced
• Must be team oriented
• Automotive degree and/or certification preferred
• Ability to provide your own basic tools
• Must be reliable and have a good work ethic
• Ability to bend, stoop, knell, lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended period of time
