HEALTHCARE CONCIERGE/RECEPTIONIST 

Responsibilities: 

  • Stand as the point-of-contact for all newly admitted residents and families in the skilled nursing facility.
  • Address resident and family concerns and answer questions related to issues, provider resources, and the normal day-to-day. 
  • Resolution and timely response to all member problems within expected or required timeframes.
  • Management of the customer relationship to ensure retention and maintain resident satisfaction. 
  • Provide resident education and counseling on access to services, benefits and providers. 
  • Assume ownership and responsibility for resident satisfaction.
  • Assist in grievance and process.
  • Ability to work before/past normal shift hours or weekends to complete any outstanding tasks for a member(s). 
  • Maintain personal metrics to established performance levels of the team.
  • Ability to work afternoon and evenings. 

Position Requirements:

  • Customer service, sales or account management experience
  • Conflict resolution experience
  • Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid experience preferable
  • Knowledge of CMS guidelines, process and systems
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Welcome new residents and get them settled with tour, gift, and unpack and inventory belongings.
  • Ensure room is ready (looks nice, clean, and equipment is in the room prior to admission)
  • Tour new residents and prospective families
  • Communicate and check on new residents after admit for several days
  • Assist with admission paperwork and consents
  • Assist with answering phones
