Job Description
Accountable for all activities in the subsidiariy with a strong focus on Sales.
Manages the organization’s resources within budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations.
Be accountable for achieving sales target and meeting P&L expectations.
Actively participates in negotiation with customers annual Commercial Objectives including but not limited to sales targets/distribution objectives/range objectives/marketing objectives.
Develop strategies to grow the size of the targeted market/market segments.
Define and implement all necessary action plans targeted at market and ensures its follow up
Manages the implementation of the area strategy, ensuring successful business growth in both the short and long term.
Actively works to develop a robust year-on-year strategy, which will enable annual step change growth.
Analyses any trends/changes to market and proactively identifies solutions to capitalize on growth opportunities/minimize a fall in either profit or volume.
Manages the budget, forecasting and financial planning processes for the area, ensuring strategic, accurate plans are put into place maximizing investment and ensuring optimal short- and long-term financial return.
In coordination with the global Marketing Department, identifies the holistic marketing strategy / budget and ensures strategic and tactical opportunities for ATL and BTL marketing are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure product/brand awareness is maximized.
Works with the Legal Department will ensure full business policy and legal compliance. Manages the implications of any legislative changes.
Increase market share and expand distribution channels and customer base.
Good knowledge of Ethiopian tax customs revenue , Fda, and other relevant authorities rules and regulations.
