What You’ll Do:
As a Clinic Nutrition Supervisor, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-specific meals and snacks that meet dietary needs and preferences
- Work closely with the Director of Dining Services, Dietitians, and team members to ensure compliance with dietary requirements and standards
- Supervise tray line service to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Maintain up-to-date dietary records and medical charting
- Support care planning, nutrition assessments, and MDS documentation
- Ensure sanitation standards are met and safety procedures are followed
- Assist in making menu adjustments for individual dietary needs and food shortages
- Participate in cultural change initiatives to improve residents' dining experiences
Requirements:
Required:
- CDM preferred, ServeSafe Certification
- Knowledge of special dietary requirements and food service in healthcare settings
- Previous supervisory experience in food and beverage establishments
- Previous experience in clinical nutrition, diet therapy, or menu manipulation
- Computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, and write in English to effectively communicate and complete required tasks, including training and documentation.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a senior care environment or Life Plan Community
- Additional certifications or training related to nutrition and dietary management
