We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Civil Engineer to join our team Guyana at the Oko West Mine Site.
- Support the development and implementation of civil design, including site grading, concrete structures, and drainage systems.
- Assist with preparing drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and provide engineering support during construction.
- Collaborate with the design and field teams to ensure construction quality and schedule adherence.
Requirements
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Relevant experience: Minimum 3-5 years in civil engineering roles with a focus on gold mining construction projects.
Additional skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Strong analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with concrete and earthworks design.
Salary Range: Negotiable.
Employment Type: Temporary contract for the duration of the construction.
Working Hours: Rotation schedule: 23 of work followed by 19 days off.
