What You'll Do
- Lead the strategic and operational management of non-operational land, ensuring full compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
- Technical lead for all Property and Land management queries across the non-operational portfolio, providing professional advice on a broad range of estate management issues. Support the wider business with technical queries that fall outside of the non -operational portfolio.
- Manage a multi-million pound capital expenditure budget, prioritising investment to maximise business benefit, and work closely with land agents to meet agreed KPIs and annual performance targets.
- Lead point of contact for lease and tenant management across the non-operational estate, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and surrender negotiations.
- Oversee the delivery of key FM services and ensure that lease and tenant matters are effectively managed through our appointed land agents. Manage compliance and risk activities to ensure all non-operational land and buildings meet legislative requirements, supported by robust and proactive risk mitigation measures.
- Lead on the identification and delivery of opportunities that enhance the economic value of the non-operational estate and support sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead the strategic review of processes managed by Land Agents and implement improvements where appropriate.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions with internal stakeholders, ensuring positive, mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties with a current or future interest in the non-operational estate.
