Machine (Cutting) Operator

Who You Are:
An ideal candidate would be someone that is reliable, self-motivated, team player, hardworking individual that is looking to start or further their career in the glass industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Operate a Cutting Table.
- Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to
expedite the production process. - CNC experience, 1-2 experience preferred but not necessary
- Verify settings
- Read, understand, and attach appropriate labels and tags to product.
- Quality inspection of glass, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Maintain continuity between shifts by communication and documenting actions, issues, concerns, and continuing needs
- Complete documentation for production and quality
- Perform different job functions when needed.
Skills You Bring:
- Three years of previous work experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Glass industry experience is a plus!
- One year of previous experience operating production machines
- Experience using overhead cranes to move heavy loads is a plus.
- Hight School Diploma or GED, preferr
- Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements
- Ability to use a tape measure and calipers to perform basic dimensional inspections
