ADVANCEMENT & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR 

Jericho Road Community Health Center is actively seeking an Advancement & Communications Coordinator. This position is full-time, within the Advancement Department, working at our 233 West Ferry location.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser's Edge NXT, including gifts, contact information, and engagement history 
  • Enter and process donations, ensuring data integrity and consistency 
  • Generate reports and mailing lists to support fundraising campaigns and donor outreach 
  • Support data cleanup, segmentation, and ongoing database optimization 
  • Prepare, personalize, and send donor acknowledgment letters in a timely manner
  • Assist with stewardship communications including appeals, updates, and impact messaging 
  • Track and ensure completion of acknowledgment processes and donor touchpoints 
  • Create and schedule social media content aligned with organizational goals 
  • Assist in developing campaigns that support fundraising, advocacy, and engagement 
  • Monitor engagement and help track performance metrics 
  • Support content creation (graphics, captions, storytelling) as needed 
  • Collaborate with advancement, marketing, administration, and advocacy teams on campaigns, projects, and tabling events 
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising initiatives, mail, and events 
  • Help ensure consistency in messaging and donor engagement across departments

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in nonprofit development, communications, or administration 
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT (strongly preferred) or similar CRM/database 
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy 
  • Excellent written communication skills 
  • Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts 
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and shift between tasks easily 
  • Detail-oriented and systems-minded 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across departments 
  • Both analytical (data) and creative (communications) skillsets 
  • Commitment to mission-driven work

Rate: $22.00-$24.00 an hour. Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
