Strategic Planning: Lead and participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including PFMEA, Pre-Production Control Plans, Flow Diagrams, and In-Process Inspection Sheets.
Mentorship: Act as a catalyst for growth by Mentoring & Coaching Quality Advanced Engineers, shaping the next generation of talent.
Customer Ambassadorship: Serve as the primary technical interface with Customers on overall quality strategy, GD&T reviews, checking fixture design, and high-stakes buyoff activities.
Technical Authority: Leverage your strong knowledge of Customer requirements and specifications to provide world-class technical and administrative project support.
Precision Engineering: Mastermind the lifecycle of checking fixtures—from initial RFQs and design reviews to successful buyoffs and passing gage R&Rs.
Supplier Excellence: Clearly document and communicate Gestamp’s elite quality expectations to our global supplier network.
Quality Transformation: Drive quality improvements through documented "quality loops," evaluating pre-production assemblies to achieve flawless tooling buyoffs.
Project Command: Coordinate "Teiletisch" (parts show) events, driving timely PPAP completion to ensure tooling recovery and project momentum.
Problem Solver: Rapidly identify root causes of delays and expedite decisive corrective actions.
System Mastery: Utilize Gestamp’s proprietary procedures and systems to manage project quality with clinical efficiency.
Auditing & Analytics: Participate in critical project audits and utilize advanced tools like GPCS to measure and report on quality metrics.
Launch Leadership: Champion a successful project launch through a seamless handoff to the plant, managing engineering changes and closing all open issues with authority.
Continuous Evolution: Define and implement strategies to support lean manufacturing principles and integrate "Lessons Learned" into our DNA.
