Cintas is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to assist and support Rental Division Executive Leadership, Production Directors, location management teams and corporate Quality and Engineering leaders in overseeing Operational Excellence (OEX) through specific focuses on labor efficiency, processing excellence, and quality assurance. As the Operational Excellence Manager, you will assume the role of a technical leader with direct execution of OEX initiatives within assigned Rental Territories. You will stay abreast of new technical, operational, and equipment developments; develop new ideas to improve overall operational effectiveness, including but not limited to improvement in labor, quality, cost control, productivity, housekeeping, safety, and environmental compliance. You will also train, mentor, and manage OEX Specialist / Engineer direct reports to effectively support the vision / purpose of Operational Excellence. Key Responsibilities Include: Effectively develop and lead a team of OEX Specialists / Engineers. Serve as the primary point of contact for Operational Excellence issues, revisions, implementations, etc. Provide consulting and project management services to achieve and maintain Operational Excellence goals within the Rental Division. Work closely with all stakeholders to collaborate on overall operational effectiveness and perform the role of liaison with production leadership and relevant corporate support teams to meet the operational needs related to Operational Excellence. Conduct evaluation of existing labor and production processes for the purposes of identifying and executing on improvement initiatives. Be proactive in identifying, resolving, and communicating production process issues. Manage incentive project scheduling and execution. Utilize process and divisional expertise to provide leadership, coaching, and / or mentoring to others. Develop and deliver training programs or presentations communicating process revisions to the organization. Ensure field locations and Regional Directors comprehend and implement training content. Consult and cross-train OEX Specialist, Engineers, and assigned field trainers to accomplish this responsibility. Develop communications for field locations on Operational Excellence issues and improvements. Maintains and improves field relationships with GM’s and frontline partners. Creates and delivers presentations at all levels. Perform Production Process duties, per the Production Process Specialist Job Description, for assigned Rental Division Groups / Territories. Skills/Qualifications Required: High School Diploma/GED Minimum 3 years’ experience in Cintas Production Management, or 5 years’ experience in outside Production Management Drivers License Ability to travel 60% of the time, including overnight travel. Preferred: Business or Technical related Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Formal training in Project Management / Problem Solving preferred (Six Sigma, Certified Project Management, Operation Excellence, etc.).
