Plant Operator

As a Plant Operator, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing the hospital’s mechanical systems and equipment—ensuring a comfortable, reliable, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, operate, and repair hospital, clinical, kitchen, and office equipment to ensure proper performance and safety.
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions for boilers, water heaters, pumps, valves, and related mechanical systems.
- Adjust and maintain steam, water, and combustion systems to meet operational standards.
- Test and treat boiler water, maintaining accurate chemical and maintenance records.
- Perform plumbing system repairs, including steam, water, and gas lines.
- Document maintenance work and submit repair procedures for major issues to the Plant Operations Foreman.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
