Location: St. Francis Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health

Join the team that keeps St. Francis Hospital operating safely and efficiently. As a Carpenter, you will play an essential role in maintaining, repairing, and improving the hospital’s physical environment—ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming space for patients, staff, and visitors.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry work including installation, repair, and maintenance of walls, doors, ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures
  • Repair and replace drywall, partitions, doors, locks, and hardware as needed
  • Construct and modify structures in clinical, office, and public areas according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to complete projects accurately
  • Ensure all work complies with safety codes, hospital standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with Plant Operations and other departments to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
  • Document completed work and report major repair needs to the Plant Operations Foreman

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience (healthcare or commercial setting preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Posted Salary Range

USD $36.16 - USD $45.20 /Hr.
