Job Details
Rehabilitation Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and therapist assistants to assist with patient care; maintains the organization and cleanliness of the treatment space; and sets up and maintains cleanliness of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Correctly positions and prepares patients for treatments as required.
- Assists patients with ADL’s as needed
- Regularly cleans and organizes the treatment space, storage areas and equipment.
- Cleans patient care equipment after every patient use.
- Cleans all hot pack and cold pack machines
- Returns equipment to its proper place and cleans/ prepares treatment areas between patient uses
Requirements:
Education: HS Diploma/GED required
Previous patient care experience preferred
Skills:
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced department, organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of treatment space and equipment.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
