Job Overview

The Quality Technician position is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our manufactured products. 

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: 

  • Perform inspection of products and materials
  • Conduct internal process and ISO audits in Panel and Equipment Enclosure manufacturing
  • Participate in and support Corrective and Preventive Action process
  • Participate on practical problem-solving teams
  • Create NCNs and support disposition of Nonconforming product process 
  • Create and circulate Quality Alerts
  • Document standard work in method sheets, procedures, or work instructions 

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Science or Engineering field is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing prints, drawings
  • Background in welding and general construction environments
  • Ability to earn a scissor lift license
  • ISO 9001 understanding and experience; previous audit experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
