The Quality Inspector I conducts internal quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and norms are followed.
A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Conducting routine quality analysis and tests/inspections of a quality control program, where duties and tasks are standardized.
- Monitoring and recording inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms.
- Preparing standard quality analysis and recommending necessary quality procedure changes.
- Reporting any discrepancies to the department supervisor.
- Recording and analyzing customer claims.
- Assisting with quality training to ensure all employees are educated on proper techniques to achieve quality requirements.
- Coordinating rework of products as necessary.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- High School Diploma; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- One to two years of relevant experience (required)
- Familiarity with ISO requirements and engineering drawings
- Understanding of basic mathematical skills
- Proficiency in relevant systems and software
