Job Overview

The Quality Inspector I conducts internal quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and norms are followed.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: 

• Conducting routine quality analysis and tests/inspections of a quality control program, where duties and tasks are standardized.
• Monitoring and recording inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms.
• Preparing standard quality analysis and recommending necessary quality procedure changes.
• Reporting any discrepancies to the department supervisor.
• Recording and analyzing customer claims.
• Assisting with quality training to ensure all employees are educated on proper techniques to achieve quality requirements.
• Coordinating rework of products as necessary.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• High School Diploma; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• One to two years of relevant experience (required)
• Familiarity with ISO requirements and engineering drawings
• Understanding of basic mathematical skills
• Proficiency in relevant systems and software
