Job Duties

  • Under broad direction, coordinates inventory planning requirements to provide seamless integration of supply chain and operations processes for one or more product service lines (PSLs)
  • Gathers business outlook from PSLs and Business Development (BD) and executes the inventory plan against the PSL demand plan to achieve optimized inventory levels
  • Responsible for planning activities such as review of forecasts and replenishment recommendations generated by inventory planning tools, leading inventory planning meetings and ensuring actions arising from these meetings are executed
  • Additionally, the role will provide coaching and training to Material Control Specialists and in some cases serve as team lead for small work groups or project teams
  • Will have direct impact and responsibility to meet financial goals and objectives for the business
  • Requires completion of a two year degree; a four year undergraduate degree in supply chain, engineering/applied math, finance/accounting or business is preferred
  • Six years related experience in materials management which includes experience in procurement or logistics or a four year degree plus 2 years related work experience required
  • Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems required
