Activities Nurse - ECC

The Activities Nurse is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, and implementing therapeutic and recreational activities that support the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being of patients or residents. This role combines clinical knowledge with activity programming to enhance quality of life. This includes the completion and/or delegating the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment (MDS), activities assessments, and contributing to and/or delegating the contribution to the comprehensive care plan and approaches that are individualized to match the skills, abilities, and interests/preference of each resident.
