
Medical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist- PD
Job Description
PAY: According to the Union Contract-$22.19 - $36.20, based on experience, EOE, DOE
SHIFT: Per Diem, fill in, on call/weekends, holidays, nights, evenings if needed
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Has professional responsibilities for planning, performing, evaluating, and reporting CLIA'88 waived testing. This includes preanalytical, analytical and post‑analytical function; performing quality control and quality assurance activities; monitoring supply inventory; blood draws and establishing and/or maintaining communications with health care providers, and patients, other hospital personnel and other organizations.
High School Diploma or equivalent
WA State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Required
Computer experience required.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions or diagrammatic form.
