Consultant, Treasury Investment Risk

As a Consultant, Treasury Investment Risk, you will provide independent second‑line oversight of risks arising from Vancity’s Treasury investment activities. You will play a critical role in assessing and challenging investment risks, including spread, funding, residual hedging, correlation, and tail risks—to ensure they remain within approved risk appetite. Through rigorous analysis and independent challenge, you will help strengthen balance‑sheet resilience and support informed decision‑making by senior leaders and governance committees. We are seeking a seasoned risk professional with strong analytical depth, sound judgement, and the confidence to provide constructive challenge in a complex financial environment.
