Surgical Authorization Advocate - USFTGP UMSA RCO Front End

This position is responsible for obtaining Surgical Pre-Authorizations and/or Surgical Pre-Determinations for surgical procedures including injections and high-end radiology for surgery providers in assigned locations. 

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience and Additional Information 

Three (3) to five (5) years medical office experience to include prior authorization and experience with pre-determination for surgical or high-end procedures. Above average knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding. Experience with insurance payors and submitting authorization requests.
