JOB TITLE: Street & Alley Mower Seasonal

SUPERVISOR: Street and Alley Foreman, Supervisor and Manager
SALARY: $16-$20 Per Hour
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Temporary/Seasonal position that assists with mowing City Right of Ways, perform help at the Belvoir Ranch as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a variety of unskilled labor activities in the routine maintenance of City Right-of Ways, Retention Ponds, and Drainage
- Operates power mowers, a variety of hand tools; also truck and tractor equipment.
- Performs minor maintenance on equipment.
- Develops and maintains good work relationship among staff employees.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform duties at the Belvoir Ranch when needed.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of the applicable work, safety rules and procedures.
- Knowledge of power equipment used in grounds maintenance.
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Required:
All applicants must be 18 at the time of application and must obtain a valid Wyoming Class C Driver’s License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must 9e met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading, and writing. The employee is also required to maintain physical condition necessary for operating assigned equipment and vehicles, heavy or moderate lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, kneeling, repeated bending or sitting for prolonged periods of time. This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Working Environment:
Travel from site to site; construction site environment; exposure to dust, noise, heavy construction equipment; toxic materials; work in inclement weather conditions; work in confined spaces.
