
Health Services Administrator - Registered Nurse
Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Supervise direct reports and nursing professionals to deliver quality patient care.

Manage staffing plans and payroll to ensure the completion and delivery of over-under reports in alignment with contractual compliance.

Conduct nurse orientation, skills evaluation, and quarterly coaching for direct reports as indicated.

Partner with medical, behavioral health, and management teams to facilitate teamwork to collaboratively accomplish organizational goals.

Maintain a general understanding of state-specific statutes, correctional facility standards, and regulatory bodies for accredited sites.

Escalate employee and client issues or concerns to the appropriate organizational level.

Facilitate and provide on-site officer training as needed.

Partner with the talent acquisition team to interview and select qualified associates.

Provide client site support for surveys and Inspections.

Assists and consults with coordinating site schedules and staffing communication as necessary.

Assist sites with completing critical incident drills and documentation.

Acquire and maintain professional licensure.

Demonstrate commitment and dedication to providing clinical support and guidance in the development and deployment of initiatives designed to solve problems and make lives easier.

Participate in and gather statistical data for continuous quality improvement (CQI) meetings.

Complete associate peer reviews, competencies, and evaluations.

Serve as a liaison between leadership, clients, and staff.

Partner with medical teams and management teams to facilitate teamwork to collaboratively accomplish organizational goals.

Demonstrate commitment and dedication to providing support and guidance in the development and deployment of initiatives designed to solve problems and make lives easier.

Complete and provide site-specific reports as requested by the client.

Ensure correctional facility policies and procedures are accessible to the medical staff.

Remain available for 24/7 calls including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsible for ordering medical supplies.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Registered Nursing License and associate degree required.
-
3+ years of nursing experience required.
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training required.
-
Must have valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
