Job Description

The Dishwasher’s main responsibility is to make sure dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen, cleaned, sanitized, and always stored in proper designated areas. Reports to: Executive Chef or Executive Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely wash, sanitize, and dry all kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Store clean dishes and utensils in respective designated storage areas.
  • Ensure dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen after mealtimes.
  • Maintain a reasonable pace to prevent back up of dirty dishes.
  • Assist other staff with general kitchen cleanup.
  • Provide great service to residents.
  • Promote a positive team-oriented environment.
  • Abide by safety practices in place.

Ability and Experience requirements:

  • Must have criminal record clearance.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
