Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer – Full Stack in Irving, TX.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer - Full Stack will design, develop, test, operate and maintain software products; execute true end-to-end development, deployment and testing of software products in an agile lifecycle using Tungsten Automation vendor hosted SAAS platform; perform data capture from images using OCR and AI/ML technologies and Barcode engines (1D and 2D) with vendor hosted SAAS platform Tungsten Total Agility. The role is also responsible for developing applications providing full business process management and workflow using the vendor platform TTA along with handling document Classification/Separation, data extraction and commit to repository. Integrate Tungsten platform applications with Azure Open AI and use the features of generative AI combining with highlighting capability in Tungsten application. They also serve as a full stack agile application developer responsible for development from front end to back end, including refactoring legacy code and CI/CD deployment to Tungsten SAAS platform. Partner with key technical and business stakeholders. Take full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code. Create optimal technical design adhering to architectural best practices and taking into account scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs; perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements; and, make sound technical design and coding decisions. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple Positions.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with each of the following: developing data tracking tool using SQL stored procedures; performing deployments following CI/CD guidelines for all Tungsten applications using shield pipelines; developing using Tungsten Automation vendor platform structured and semi structured document classification/Separation/Extraction; utilizing Tungsten Total Agility to build and enhance intelligent document capture workflows; building custom reports from Insight under Tungsten; utilizing all of the following: Transformation Designer, VBScript, and .NetCore. Must possess 1 year of experience: using developing AI plugins with ChatGPT models and Flask; implementing AI/ML solutions with Microsoft Azure; and, utilizing all of the following: Agentic AI, Azure Open AI, Form Recognizer, and Python. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.
