Join us as we debut Stillwater & Stone, our reimagined restaurant and modern lobby café, opening May 2026. We’re looking for a skilled and personable Barista to help bring this elevated coffee and beverage experience to life.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their craft, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through expertly prepared coffee and warm, attentive service.

What You’ll Do

As a Barista, you’ll be at the heart of our café experience—preparing high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and supporting smooth daily operations.

• Craft Exceptional Beverages: Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso beverages, teas, and other offerings with precision and consistency
• Deliver Memorable Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests in the café and lobby areas
• Know Your Menu: Build strong knowledge of beverage offerings, ingredients, and pairings to guide and enhance the guest experience
• Engage Guests: Create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that encourages repeat visits from travelers and locals alike
• Handle Transactions: Accurately process orders and payments using POS systems
• Support Hotel Operations: Assist with café setup for events, meetings, and other food & beverage outlets as needed

Stillwater & Stone is a newly renovated restaurant and lobby café designed as a vibrant social hub in Crystal City. Featuring natural textures, modern design, and a refined yet inviting atmosphere, it offers specialty coffees, artisanal teas, fresh pastries, and light fare—creating a dynamic experience for both travelers and locals.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience, preferably in a hotel, café, or upscale environment
• Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and coffee brewing techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems (Micros preferred)
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-energy setting
• Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and quality
