About our school St John's College is a Catholic secondary learning community established by the Good Samaritan Sisters in 1940. Summary St John's College is seeking an experienced school administration professional to manage parent reception and support a range of administrative functions for the remainder of the 2026 school year. Experience or interest in workplace health and safety would be an advantage, as would familiarity with eMinerva or a similar student administration platform. Location: St Johns - Nambour (S) Start date: 02/06/2026 - End of 2026 school year Work hours: 38.00 hours per week Salary: School Officer Level 4 - $36.98/hr + 12.75% Super Status: Term Time Fixed Term | School Holidays are unpaid Ad close date: 31 May 2026 Contact: (07) 5441 5666 | [email protected] About the opportunity In this position you will be responsible for: • Serve as the first point of contact for parent enquiries at the college reception. • Support the coordination of student medical action plans. • Assist the Business Manager in overseeing the college's safety plans and initiatives. • Work collaboratively as part of a multifaceted administration team to support the smooth operation of the college. • Undertake general administrative duties as directed by the college leadership team. • Provide first aid support when required. About you To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Having provided a wide variety of administrative and operational support Coordinating tasks to meet deadlines and commitments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery Advising on administrative tasks and processes, driving process improvements Understanding of compliance within a school and delivering on relevant legislation, policy and procedures Led and supported administrative staff, ensuring their smooth onboarding and providing effective training for optimal performance A current first aid qualification advantageous, or willingness to undertake training to provide first aid to students For this position you are not required to be Catholic Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
