Job Description
We are looking for talented students to join an 8-week full-time, paid summer internship focused on AI research and development.
This is an amazing opportunity for students who are eager to apply technical and analytical skills in a business environment. Interns will work as part of a small cohort to support AI-driven initiatives, exploring how modern AI tools and techniques can be applied to real business and product-related problems across the organization.
About You - Experience, Education, Skills
Currently enrolled on an Undergraduate degree program, with at least one year of university study completed
Passionate about AI, technology, and business strategy
Competent with modern AI tools, platforms (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Replit) and agent development
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex AI concepts into actionable insights
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, professional environment.
It would be great if you also have:
Some hands-on experience with Python or similar programming languages
Prior experience applying technology to solve practical business or product-related problems
What will you be doing in this role?
Develop AI-enabled tools and analytical techniques, across Clarivate’s key domain areas, Academic research intelligence, Life Sciences intelligence and Intellectual Property intelligence
Assist in evaluating how AI-enabled capabilities can enhance products, platforms, or internal decision-making processes
Apply data analysis and basic engineering approaches to test ideas, assess feasibility, and evaluate outcomes
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to iterate on use cases and refine solutions
Help structure business and product-related problems, gather inputs, and translate findings into clear insights and recommendations
Hours of Work
Full-time internship, for the duration of the program, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
Hybrid position working 3 days/week on-site.
Must live within a commutable distance to London office.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the UK.
