Labcorp is seeking a Senior Manager, Patient Marketing, to join our team in Burlington, NC or Durham, NC.

Responsibilities:
Patient Marketing Strategy & Planning
Own the patient marketing vision and roadmap, translating enterprise, business, and growth priorities into integrated patient strategies.
Serve as the subject matter expert and strategic advisor on patient marketing, influencing decisions at the director and senior leadership level.
Establish clear priorities, success metrics, and governance models to ensure alignment across teams and sustained performance.
Lead the development and execution of data‑driven patient marketing strategies aligned to business goals, growth priorities, and patient experience needs.
Define target audience segments, patient value propositions, and messaging frameworks that strengthen brand trust, clarity, and usability.
Partner with product, digital, clinical, and operations teams to bring new patient solutions and product enhancements to market, from concept to launch.
Go‑to‑Market Planning & Execution
Own go-to-market strategy for new and evolving patient products, services, and digital experiences, from concept through launch and optimization.
Lead multi‑channel patient marketing campaigns across paid media (social, search, video, display), CRM (email, SMS), website, content, and in‑experience communications.
Oversee messaging and channel orchestration to increase patient acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
Collaborate with digital teams on SEO, landing page optimization, and site experience enhancements that remove friction and improve self‑service.
Collaborate with design, creative, brand, digital, operations, legal, compliance, and analytics teams to ensure high‑impact, on‑brand, and compliant patient communications.
Support structured go‑to‑market planning for new Labcorp patient products, services, and digital tools—ensuring coordinated messaging and touchpoints.
Ensure launch plans are aligned, sequenced, and executed with accountability across product marketing, brand, creative, digital, PR, legal, and compliance teams.
Patient Experience & Messaging Excellence
Set standards for patient-facing communications, ensuring they are clear, accessible, compliant, and aligned to Labcorp’s brand, values, and health equity principles.
Guide communication strategies that support patients across their full journey—from test preparation through results and follow-up care.
Continuously evaluate and elevate the quality, clarity, and effectiveness of patient messaging.
Serve as the lead subject matter expert for patient marketing, guiding marketers and cross-functional partners on best practices to drive high-impact, patient-centered outcomes.
Data‑Driven Optimization & Insight Development
Define and own patient marketing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, ensuring visibility and accountability for outcomes.
Monitor patient behavior, campaign performance, channel effectiveness, and funnel conversion metrics to inform insights and action plans.
Leverage patient insights, market research, and competitive intelligence to continuously evolve engagement strategy.
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating data into clear action plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
8 or more years of marketing experience, in patient/consumer marketing, healthcare, diagnostics, digital health, or financial services.
5 or more years experience launching and scaling patient‑facing marketing programs across paid, owned, and digital channels.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that deliver measurable patient growth and engagement.
Demonstrated success improving patient experience communications, reducing friction, and supporting patient journey goals.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills; able to influence effectively across cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities; able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with advanced patient‑centered copywriting and editing proficiency.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment; adaptable and solutions‑oriented with strong ownership mentality.
About the Role
The Senior Manager, Patient Marketing owns and leads growth, engagement, and retention initiatives across our patient audience.
This role serves as a senior individual contributor, setting strategic direction for patient-facing marketing while mentoring and guiding team members, influencing senior stakeholders, and acting as a trusted marketing advisor to cross-functional partners. The Senior Manager will be accountable for end-to-end strategy, executional excellence, and performance outcomes, helping shape Labcorp’s approach to patient experience, education, and adoption at scale.
Applicants will follow a hybrid schedule that includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
