Job Description
NBM Railways is seeking an HRBP to join its dynamic team. This position is based in Saint John, NB and reports to the Director of HR. Salary Range: 55 - 75K
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure a positive candidate and new employee experience.
- Partner with business leaders and employees to support day‑to‑day HR needs and people‑related initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with employees on HR matters within the scope of the role.
- Drive positive employee experience through building relationships, engagement, planning, and activities along with problem resolution.
- Support the delivery and rollout of common HR programs and initiatives across the division.
- Analyze HR data and trends to help identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision‑making.
- Contribute ideas and support initiatives that drive continuous improvement, innovation, and positive change in HR processes and employee experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in delivering Human Resources services or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Customer-focused, results driven team player.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail.
- Demonstrates curiosity, creativity, and strong problem solving skills, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and adapt in a changing environment.
- A CPHR designation completed or in progress is considered an asset.
