Job Description
Schedule/Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
This position is responsible for:
The Lifeguard ensures safe aquatic operations by observing swimmers, protecting life, preventing accidents, and enforcing facility regulations under the direction of the Lead Lifeguard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe swimmers and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe, clean pool environment.
- Report equipment defects, facility issues, and safety concerns.
- Maintain professional attitude and attend required staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• Must have the ability to swim with proficiency and endurance.
• Ability to tread water while holding a brick for 5 minutes.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Work involves exposure to pool chemicals, temperature changes, noise, and humidity.

Licenses and Certifications:
Current certifications in:
- American Red Cross First Aid (or equivalent Title 22 certification)
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPR Pro)
- Lifeguard Training (equivalent certifications may be accepted)
