About the Role
The Manager, Core HR & Mobility Process Design & Optimization Lead is responsible for designing, optimizing, and continuously improving global Core HR and mobility-related processes to ensure data integrity, compliance, auditability, and consistency across the employee life cycle.
This role applies leading practice process architecture, documentation, and process enablement frameworks across Core HR and mobility domains—from employee data management and job changes through organizational updates, global transfers, expatriation and repatriation, and related integrations—while partnering closely with HR Operations, Mobility, Technology, Payroll, and Risk.
The role enables reliable HR data and mobility outcomes by defining scalable standards, controls, and metrics, while execution accountability remains with HR Operations, Mobility, and Shared Services teams.
Success in this role requires close alignment with HR Operations and Mobility leadership to translate strategy into scalable, compliant Core HR and mobility processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with HR Operations and Mobility leadership to support global Core HR and mobility process design and optimization initiatives.
• Enable and support standardized Core HR and mobility process documentation that supports accuracy, auditability, and employee clarity.
• Support leadership by defining structured global versus localized Core HR and mobility data standards.
• Function as a process design lead and trusted advisor for Core HR and mobility system enhancements, structural changes, and operating model evolution.
• Partner with Product & Engineering to optimize workflows, validations, and integrations within Workday Core HCM and mobility-related systems.
• Support testing and deployment of Core HR and mobility process changes.
• Leverage metrics to monitor data quality, cycle times, compliance risks, and rework.
• Support cross-functional alignment with Payroll, Benefits, Tax, Risk & Compliance, and Technology teams.
• Assess Core HR and mobility process impacts driven by acquisitions, reorganizations, workforce changes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Leadership Profile
• 7+ years of experience in Core HR operations, mobility operations, HR process design, or shared services environments.
• Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end HR and mobility processes in global organizations.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday Core HCM.
• Understanding of audit controls, data governance, and global mobility compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
• Enterprise first mindset with accountability for process quality and continuous improvement.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $112,000 - $179,000 USD
