Pay Range: $75,160.00 to $112,740.00
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip, Inc. has an opportunity for a Production (Sanitation) Manager. This person will lead and directly manage supervisors and support in the management of all coworkers in the Kwik Trip Sweets Bakery Plant (Overnight Sanitation Crew) to ensure quality, safety, sanitation and productivity expectations are met. This individual will:
- Provide safety coordinator support in
- Program development, policies, procedures, etc.
- Coworker compliance and training records
- Routine plant safety auditing
- Accident documentation review
- HR Department contact for safety
- Enforce GMP policies and procedures
- Assist in customer complaint investigations; Find it, Fix it, Prevent It
- Responsible for reporting or initiating action related to food safety and quality issues
- Work with the hiring team to trigger open positions based off current process standard/summer help
- Conduct year-end reviews or appraisals
- Create Coworker Development paths for supervisors to further develop their skill set
- Conduct Coworker conferences and issue resolution
- Schedule and oversee all production in their area
- Weekly hours reconciliation and approval
- Planning and configuring current and future products as they change
- Participate in day-to-day business planning/decision making for operation
- Daily plant confirmation to remain aligned with QA, Safety, and Continuous Improvement standards
- Coordinate all inventory issues with Procurement team product inventory issues
- Identify group opportunity for standardized work, training aids, problem solving, and target setting
- Coordinate specific annual group targets and goals with Facility Director
- Coordinate specific annual Capital Expenditure list with Facility Director and Business Analyst group
- Support all Capital Expenditure projects that fall within the production group’s scope
- Work with Production Business Analyst group to quantify potential improvement savings/opportunities
- Assist in the development of the Disaster Recovery Plan
- Coach and mentor facility group leaders in all aspects of KTPS
- Perform practical problem solving aligned with KTPS identified within proper job scope
- Assist and mentor facility group in all Improvement activities but not limited to:
- Developing Digital Standard Work
- Conduct A3 Practical Problem-Solving Exercises
- Attend facility daily improvement meetings (DIM)
- Set Facilities Targets and Goals
- Confirmation of standardized processes
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of previous management experience in a similar fast paced production facility; currently have or the ability to obtain CPR/AED certification, OSHA 10hr; strong proven leadership skills; ability to work well alone and as part of a team; strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; problem solving skills; accurate and detail oriented; willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks; read, understand, and interpret numbers; ability to provide co-workers with timely and professional job performance feedback; exercise sound judgment within company guidelines; follow and enforce company policies; prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks; meet department deadlines; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products; ability to work in a fast paced, safety conscious environment; work with minimal supervision; and possess traits of Kwik Trip, Inc.'s Core Vaues: high level of Honesty & Integrity, show Respect, strive for Excellence, Humility, encourage Innovations and possess a "roll of your sleeves" Work Ethic. Maintenance aptitude is a plus.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday working overnights (start and end times may vary based on needs) with rotational weekend coverage. Must have the flexibility to change work schedule if necessary.
