Position Summary

The Housekeeper/Guest Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to ensure a comfortable, welcoming environment for all guests. This role supports overall guest satisfaction by upholding cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards throughout the property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas

  • Replenish linens, amenities, and guest supplies according to standards

  • Follow checklists to maintain consistency and quality

  • Report repair needs, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors

  • Communicate room status and special requests to leadership

  • Assist team members to support smooth and efficient operations

Other Duties

  • Perform additional cleaning or operational tasks as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently

  • Strong attention to detail and dependability

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic communication skills

  • Good organizational habits and time management

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

  • Ability to safely push/pull housekeeping carts

  • Frequent walking, reaching, and repetitive movement

Work Environment

  • Indoors in guests' rooms

  • Weekend and holiday availability required
