Responsibilities
Oversee the successful execution of all catering and event operations within the hotel, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency
Coordinate and manage all event operations requirements from planning through to event completion, including setup, service flow and post-event follow-up
Lead, motivate and support the Catering & Events Operations team to deliver memorable guest experiences aligned with Hilton brand standards
Handle guest feedback, special requests and operational challenges promptly and professionally
Assist with rostering, labour control and cost management to maximise productivity while maintaining service excellence
Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, workplace health & safety procedures and food safety regulations
About You:
Have a minimum of 12 months full Australian Working Rights (sponsorship is not offered)
Previous experience as a Catering & Events Operations Manager or Assistant Catering & Events Manager for a minimum of 1 year, or at least 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory role within hospitality or events operations
A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to bring a team together to deliver exceptional events and guest experiences
Master of multitasking — able to handle multiple events, operational priorities and deadlines with confidence and ease!
A people person with outstanding communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with guests, clients and internal teams
Detail-oriented with a passion for creating seamless and memorable event experiences from planning through execution
Solutions-focused, proactive and calm under pressure — no challenge is too big!
Previous experience with banquet, catering, conference or large-scale event operations would be highly advantageous
Have full Australian Working rights (sponsorship is not offered)
Physically based in the Perth Metropolitan Area or willing to relocate (no relocation allowance is provided)
