Job Description
Summary/Objective
Responsible for supporting all the functions of the inventory team. Act as subject matter expert for the inventory team and will be knowledgeable of all inventory functions and processes, active participant of daily activities.
Essential Functions
- Contributes to the team effort by actively participating in all warehouse activities.
- Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies discrepancies and resolves audit counts.
- Assign locations to stock products daily.
- Unassign locations that are no longer for stock products.
- Adding product to inventory that requires a location.
- Completing quality assurance double checks for critical customers.
- Assists all departments by updating DIM’s on items and making sure product data is accurate.
- Responsible for backing up the Inventory Control Lead on unloading containers, including but not limited to unloading and proper storage of Stauffer Brand product.
- Assists unloading weekly containers.

Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, rolling ladders, and other material handling tools. Use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 65 lbs., climb ladders, and work on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other moving apparatus.
- Work in an uncontrolled temperature environment and in a controlled temperature environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Travel
- No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Degree
- Proficient skill level in all Microsoft Office programs
- Experience operating forklift equipment and pallet jacks.
- DOT Medical Certification, must be able to safely drive and operate Box Truck, applicable to specific warehouse locations
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous experience working experience using a Warehouse Management System
