The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing patient-centered nursing care based on individualized healthcare needs while working under the direction and delegation of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Patient assessments and nursing evaluations
  • Medication administration and treatment planning
  • Monitoring patient conditions and documenting care
  • Communicating with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
  • Providing compassionate and professional patient care
  • Following established nursing standards and correctional healthcare protocols
