Job Description Summary
Is responsible for the proper handling, organization and put away of all deliveries for the area(s) assigned. Performs additional duties such as dish washing, cleaning of all production equipment, floor cleaning, trash removal and deep cleaning of storage rooms, shelves and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Puts away all food deliveries per FIFO in a timely manner.
- Maintains the organization of all food storerooms, dry and cold.
- Actively distributes receipts from multiple outlets as needed and/or assigned.
- Maintains and communicates samples and special deliveries.
- Further duties as time permits include all stewarding responsibilities. These include:
- Dish washing and pot washing
- Trash removal.
- Floor and wall cleaning.
- Cleaning of kitchens and storage rooms
- Food delivery
Chemical handling as per MSDS; ability to communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.
Provide excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.
Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
PREVIOUS GAMING EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED
Required Education and/or Experience
- Six months of related experience
- Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the receiving areas, trash areas and kitchens, including moving and lifting receivables as heavy as 75 pounds, repeatedly. Physical demands on this job are extensive and demanding. Lifting of and moving of heavy boxes will happen numerous times every shift. Receipts can sometimes exceed 10 pallets of food in one shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
- The noise level in the kitchen work environment is usually moderate to high, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing up to 75 lbs. on a frequent basis. Must have sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use box cutters, be comfortable working in cold and freezing environments and the determination to complete the work required.
