Lead and develop the Inland Logistic Tender Management Team around the world and support the entire Regional Logistic teams in the regions
Define project-specific logistics strategies and implement cost optimization measures. (RFQs, comparisons), including routes, permits, transport restrictions, and local conditions
Help prepare logistics concepts and planning for the sales offer scope, taking under control the route surveys and route modifications and validate technical feasibility
Standardize and assist in estimating inland logistics costs, identifying logistics risks and opportunities. Validate awards. And manage the Logistics Sales Calculation and the Log Calc tool or others.
Support the leadership of the operational strategy, supporting the execution
Calculate logistic costs along the full transport chain from manufacturing if it is local and POD to the destination
Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Engineering, Tender Management, Sales, Global Logistics and Legal during the tendering phase and supporting the operational phase. Including the different external stakeholders.
Consolidate cost data, maintain databases, and integrate lessons learned into processes and documentation.
Represent the area in technical and commercial negotiations and act as the interface between Regions and HQ, participating actively in Sourcing Board processes.Support the area and the functional Regional Logistic Managers in operative issues or main topics in ports and final run scope, including intermediate storage areas
