Frye Island Ferry System, located on beautiful Sebago Lake, provides ferry transportation to Frye Island servicing the local community and vacationers throughout the season.
Part time Seasonal opportunities available for 2026!
Sebago Lake between Frye Island and Raymond, Maine
TRAINING PROVIDED!
Ferry Mate/Deckhand - Passenger interface, ticketing, loading, and departure and arrival operations for vehicle and passenger ferry

Requirements for the Ferry Mate/Deckhand:
- Ability to use a mobile device and app to perform ticketing
- Ability to follow directions
- Physical ability to walk and bend repeatedly, secure and release chains, and pass through tight spaces between vehicles
- Ability to use computer software to open and close shifts; ability to communicate via email
- Ability to maintain a positive and customer-friendly demeanor
