Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the oversight of all?day-to-day operational activities of the department? 
  • Maintains personal connections?with guests, clients and community organizations to encourage?guest loyalty??? 
  • Assists in supervising?team members?with efforts relating?to recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, performance management, counseling and other team member relations issues? 
  • Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities needed?to perform any position?in the department?? 
  • Prepares foods according to specifications and quality standards established in recipes and procedures 
  • Prepares equipment and food based on forecasted needs and events
  • Maintains working knowledge of all kitchen machinery operations 
  • Maintains updated knowledge?related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients? 
  • Maintains inventory controls and dates all incoming products 
  • Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members
  • Assists in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department
  • Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency?? 
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
